Summit County has its fair share of restaurants. We've put together a list of some of our favorites. Be sure to check them out!
Silverthorne and Dillon
Sunshine Cafe
Summit Place Shopping Center - 468-6663
A great place with a local flair for over 19 years. Open daily for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The food ranges from sandwiches to fish and steaks at reasonable prices. They have a full bar with a nice wine list and locally brewed beers. You may want to split an omlet unless you are hungry.
The Mint
Blue River Parkway
See what life was like before I-70 brought the masses to Summit County. The Mint was first located in the original town of Dillon (now under Lake Dillon). The building was dismantled and rebuilt at its current location. Cook your own steaks or take advantage of the daily specials. Food is always good.
The Dam Brewery
Off of I-70 next to the Dillon Factory Stores - 262-7777
A nice, casual atmosphere, with a very diverse menu. This micro-brewery has your usual assortment of beer brewed on location but with a menu from a burger to seafood specials. If you just want to enjoy a beer after a hard day of skiing, they also have bar area upstairs with darts and foosball. It's also worth looking at the T-Shirts with the The Dam Brewery theme.
Wild Bills

Italian food ranging from gourmet pizzas to lasagna and sandwiches. A family atmosphere where you can enjoy the view of Lake Dillon from the patio or eat inside. Serves lunch all day and has a happy hour from 3-5 p.m.
Frisco
Silverheels at the Ore House
Corner of 6th & Main Street - 668-0345
Top notch steaks with a Southwestern flair. Their unique Spanish and Mexican herbs along with the colorful presentation make this a very enjoyable dining experience. They also offer seafood and less adventurous food. Reservations are highly recommended.
The Moose Jaw
208 Old Main Street - 668-3931
Home of the 1/3 pound gourmet char-burgers. A great place to kick back and relax after a good (or bad) day of alpine fun. A game room with 35-cent pool tables, foosball and pinball are a nice way to work off any left-over energy.
Breckenridge
Fatty's Pizza
16 S. Ridge Street - 453-9802
This is the oldest pizzaria in Breckenridge. Fatty's uses homemade dough and sauces for it's one of a kind pizza. They also serve lasagna, spaghetti and other pasta dishes. A kid's menu is available and the kitchen is open from 11:30 a.m. until 10:30 p.m.
Poirrier's Cajun Café
224 S. Main Street - 453-1877
Serving authentic Cajun food since 1988. This is southwestern Louisiana food at it's finest, right here in the mountains. All the cajun favorites such as red beans and rice, po'boys and gumbos. They also feature gulf seafood, blackened fish and chicken. Opens for lunch at 10:30 a.m. and dinner at 5:30 p.m.
Whale's Tail
323 S. Main Street - 453-2221
Well-known for crab, lobster, shrimp and fine steaks since 1973. They also feature prime rib, pasta and fresh fish specials nightly. Lunch served from 11:30 a.m. and dinner is served from 4:30 p.m. Check out the early-bird special. One-half price dinner when a bottle of wine is purchased. Must be seated before 6:00 p.m.
Copper Mountain
B-Lift Pub

A great place to relax between runs or after skiing. A comfortable pub with a game room and pool tables. A large big-screen TV completes the ambiance. They serve a variety of grilled items with the self-prophessed best burgers on the mountain.
O'Shea's
Located at the base of the American Eagle lift. 968-2885, ext. 6504
A family-style restaurant that has a relaxing atmosphere with prices that will allow you to purchase lift tickets for the next day. A variety of sandwiches and salads to please anyone's tastes. A full bar and four televisions will take your mind off of sore muscles and bad falls. Serves breakfast and lunch from 7:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.
Keystone
Alpenglow Stube
Keystone Mountain - 496-4386
Still have money left over from lift tickets? Try this high altitude dining experience. This restaurant is located atop of North Peak at 11,444'. You can take the gondola to the Outpost, a log lodge. The dinner is an elegant six course, contemperary meal served with a Bavarian flair. Dishes include exotic wild game with a chocolate crepe dessert. Reservations are required.
Keystone Ranch Restaurant
Located at Keystone Ranch Golf Course - 496-4386
This is a rustic and picturesque 1930's homestead features award-winning, six course dinners. Enjoy dessert and coffee in the historic living room in front of the blazing fire. Reservations are required and they are closed on Sundays.
Snake River Saloon
U.S. Highway 6, Mt. View Village - 468-2788
This is a nice stop if your ready to leave the Keystone environment. They are celebrating their 24th year of serving prime rib, steaks, pasta, chops and seafood. A lighter fare is served in the bar. Live music and dancing on the weekends.
